Dear Ms BROWN Family,
Goodness me, what a start to the year.
I had actually drafted an email to you all to update you on the situation on our beloved Kangaroo Island, following the bushfires. And now this, it's just heartbreaking.
I would like to reassure you that we are, at this stage, still open for business and are taking the necessary steps to protect the wellbeing and safety of both our team and you, our customers.
We are following the advice and recommendations of the Australian Government, State and Territory Governments and the World Health Organisation with regard to social distancing and hygiene. We will continue to do so and adapt as recommended, in this ever-evolving situation.
In order to get your hand wash, hand cream and garment care products to you, we are continuing to fulfil orders and taking extra hand hygiene precautions when processing and packing.
On delivery, the courier will leave your orders on your doorstep in a safe place without interacting with you. Orders being delivered to remote areas will continue to be sent with Australia Post who is also delivering without signatures.
An update on product availability…
I am so pleased to have seen a spike in sales of hand wash which tells me our customers are taking hand hygiene seriously, so good on you and thank you.
Our beautiful and gentle Unscented Hand Wash is available now. We are currently sold out of our Bergamot Hand Wash (expected back in stock end March). Nourishing Hand Cream is available in both Bergamot and Unscented.
No matter what goes on in the world, laundry still needs to be done and so our Wool & Cashmere and Delicate Wash are fully stocked. I am so pleased to let you know that the family-owned Eucalyptus distillery on Kangaroo Island that provides the oil for our Wool & Cashmere Wash was one of the lucky ones and spared in the bushfires so we are able to continue making that beautiful product for you.
In this uncertain time, while yes, we are aiming to keep our distance from other people, I feel it's also an important time to remember to be kind, so I thought I would share this talk recently given by my dear friend, Annabelle Williams. I hope you find it inspiring as I did. Watch it here.
